A woman’s misinterpretation of a dessert order at a restaurant has left viewers online in hysterics.

Zhuli, who is known on TikTok as @zhulitunes, has gained significant attention on the platform after sharing her reaction to a shared plate of tiramisu that the group she was dining with had ordered.

The musician had mistakenly tucked into the surprisingly small plate of dessert as if it were just for her, before being met with judgmental looks from her friends who laughed at her honest error. The video, which was shared to TikTok on June 17, has been viewed more than 4.4 million times and has led to several amused comments.

Viewers online were able to see Zhuli, who is based in Australia, take a generous spoonful of the popular Italian dessert made of ladyfinger pastries and coffee, before realizing that it had been intended as a sharing plate.

She had initially picked up the plate and showed it off to the camera, while beaming with excitement at the prospect of eating the inviting dessert. Before she could enjoy much of the dessert, the group she had been dining with explained that it had been meant for all of them to share.

With an embarrassed laugh, Zhuli placed the dessert that she had called a “betrayal” in the caption back down on the table. The moment played out at a restaurant in Sydney, in New South Wales, Australia.

An overlaid text on the video read: “Not me thinking the share plate of tiramisu was just one serving.”

The post, which has been liked more than 293,000-plus times, has amassed over 500 comments. Most commenters have shared their funny takes on the mishap, and have voiced how relatable Zhuli’s mistake was.

“That is literally 1 serving idk [I do not know] what they’re talking about,” one viewer, @maddy_au1, said.

Another, @meowtigakali, added: “I am NOT SHARING a tiramisu.”

“You were holding that tiramisu with your life (as you should),” a third viewer, @yum.berries, said.

Another, @qeleshjaaaaaaaaa, added: “This is why I make my own tiramisu and eat half of it.”

“Okay but tiramisu is so damn rich, how could anyone have more than like 3 to 4 bites, especially right after a full meal. So yeah that’s definitely a sharing size,” another, @azeemahfj, said.
