WWE’s WrestleMania 42 features two back-to-back nights full of matches, with multiple championships on the line throughout the weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.
However, there have been WrestleMania odds circulating for a while, suggesting which championships might change hands and which might stay put. In particular, they could reveal several spoilers for the first night’s card. Matches include the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, Women’s Intercontinental Championship, Women’s World Championship, and the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line.
These matches have been building for weeks, although there is some uncertainty surrounding the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match. It’s a Fatal Four-Way featuring Lash Legend and Nia Jax putting their championship on the line against three other teams: The Bella Twins, Alexa Bliss with Charlotte Flair, and Lyra Valkyria with Bayley.
Logan Paul Reacts to Tom Brady’s Potential WrestleMania 42 Appearance
During last night’s WWE Hall of Fame Red Carpet special, Brie and Nikki appeared for an interview before the ceremony. Big E mentioned he saw a boot on one of Nikki’s legs and feet due to her injury. However, she suggested that nothing would stop her from competing in the match alongside her sister.
That match is unconfirmed regarding who is participating, so there aren’t any current odds. However, a betting website, BetOnline.ag, shows various odds for this weekend’s event, including the other three championship matches.
AJ Lee is looking to claim her first championship since returning to WWE. She’ll battle Becky Lynch for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, but unfortunately, –650 odds favor Lynch to retain. Lee is a +375 underdog.
In another match, Stephanie Vaquer will put her championship on the line against the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble winner, Liv Morgan. For those cheering on Liv to claim the championship after winning the Rumble, the -600 odds suggest she will celebrate a WrestleMania moment, while Vaquer, a +350 underdog, will see her reign end.
WrestleMania 42 Sunday: Full Card Predictions and Surprises
The main event on Saturday night is the Undisputed WWE Championship match as Cody Rhodes puts his championship on the line against “The Viper” Randy Orton.
Fans have been sour on Pat McAfee’s involvement in this one, but he’s connected to ESPN, so it makes sense to bring him in for something. He could also factor in the finish as Orton’s -450 odds suggest he could defeat Rhodes, a +275 underdog, for the championship.
It should be interesting to see whether all of these matches go just as the odds suggest. Keep in mind that a win doesn’t always mean a championship has changed hands, either, as a wrestler could get disqualified or counted out.
