The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off a 6-11 season, but that record isn’t really indicative of the talent on this squad. The Bengals are one of those teams that could absolutely take off in 2026 if players can stay healthy and the right pieces fall into place.

As September inches closer, one NFL analyst believes the Bengals should make a significant trade.

Moe Moton of Bleacher Report has released a list where he names one blockbuster trade each franchise should make before the 2026 season starts. “Keep in mind, these players must have decent market value to be trade assets. Most of the selections below have been productive in recent years or have some upside,” he states in the feature.

For the Bengals, he likes the idea of the team trading defensive tackle Kris Jenkins Jr.

What makes this a good idea? As Moton explains, the Bengals added two veteran defensive tackles during the offseason, signing Jonathan Allen and acquiring Dexter Lawrence II from the New York Giants. “With an established veteran trio on the interior of the Bengals’ defensive line, the coaching staff may find it difficult to get younger players like Kris Jenkins Jr. on the field,” he adds.
