President Donald Trump, Woody Allen, former President Bill Clinton and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor are all seen in newly released photos obtained from the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s estate.
On Friday, December 12, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released 19 archival photos, of more than 95,000 total images, recovered from Epstein’s estate as part of the committee’s investigation into the disgraced financier. (Epstein died by suicide at age 66 in August 2019 after being arrested on federal sex trafficking charges. He previously pleaded guilty to procuring a child for prostitution and soliciting a minor in 2008, and served 13 months in prison.)
These photos offer a glimpse into Epstein’s ties to rich and powerful figures throughout entertainment, political and business spheres. In one image obtained by the committee, Epstein and his then-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell are shown with Clinton and another couple. (Maxwell, 63, was convicted of sex trafficking and conspiracy, among other charges, in 2022 in relation to Epstein’s crimes. She has denied any wrongdoing.)
Trump, now 79, appears in multiple photos released by House Democrats, including one in which he poses with five women whose faces have been redacted. Another shot features a set of Trump-themed condoms.
White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson told Us in a statement that “House Democrats are selectively releasing cherry-picked photos with random redactions to try and create a false narrative.”
“The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked and the Trump Administration has done more for Epstein’s victims than Democrats ever have by repeatedly calling for transparency, releasing thousands of pages of documents, and calling for further investigations into Epstein’s Democrat friends. It’s time for the media to stop regurgitating Democrat talking points and start asking Democrats why they wanted to hang around Epstein after he was convicted,” Jackson continued.
Other images show Epstein on set with Allen, now 90, while the filmmaker is pictured elsewhere with Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon. Mountbatten-Windsor, now 65, is seen with former Microsoft chairman Bill Gates, whereas Epstein himself can be spotted in the background of a shot with Virgin founder Richard Branson.
Us Weekly has reached out for comment from those pictured.
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee tweeted on Friday that the release of these 19 photos “raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world.”
“Time to end this White House cover-up. Release the files,” they demanded.
The House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly to compel the Justice Department to release the so-called “Epstein Files” on November 18. Attorney General Pam Bondi has promised to comply with the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
Lawyers for Epstein’s estate wrote to the House Oversight Committee on Thursday, December 11, to agree to provide access to photos and videos “taken at any property owned, rented, operated, or used by Epstein from January 1, 1990 through August 10, 2019,” according to CNN.
The House Oversight Committee’s ranking Democrat, Rep. Robert Garcia, subsequently said in a statement to Us Weekly that the committee had worked with Epstein’s estate to review “over 95,000 photos, including images of the wealthy and powerful men who spent time with Jeffrey Epstein” and “thousands of photographs of women and Epstein properties.”
“It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends,” Garcia added in a statement.
He went on, “We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW.”
A spokesperson for the Republican-led committee decried the selective release of photos for “creat[ing] a false narrative about President Trump.”
“We received over 95,000 photos and Democrats released just a handful. Democrats’ hoax against President Trump has been completely debunked,” a committee spokesperson said. “Nothing in the documents we’ve received shows any wrongdoing. It is shameful Rep. Garcia and Democrats continue to put politics above justice for the survivors.”
Many of those public figures featured in the newly released photos have acknowledged their ties to Epstein, but all have denied any wrongdoing. Allen told London’s The Times in September that he attended a dinner with Epstein in 2010 where the disgraced mogul “couldn’t have been nicer.”
“He told us he’d been in jail and that he had been — I can’t remember the word — but that he’d been falsely put in jail in some way,” Allen recalled.
Gates, 70, acknowledged that he’d been “quite stupid” to associate with Epstein during a Wall Street Journal interview in January.
“In retrospect, I was foolish to spend any time with him. And he, sort of, got time with various people by spending time with other people,” he recalled. “So yes, I think I was quite stupid. I thought it would help me with global health philanthropy. In fact, it failed to do that. It was just a huge mistake.”
Following Epstein’s arrest in 2019, Clinton, now 79, issued a statement to CNN to insist that he knew nothing about the financier’s “terrible crimes.”
Mountbatten-Windsor confirmed his friendship with both Epstein and Maxwell in a controversial 2019 interview with BBC Newsnight, where he also denied any wrongdoing or knowledge of Epstein’s crimes. (The former prince settled a civil sexual assault lawsuit with late Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre in February 2022. Giuffre died by suicide at age 41 in April 2025.)
Nonetheless, Buckingham Palace announced in October that it was stripping Mountbatten-Windsor of his royal titles. He will also be required to move out of his home at Royal Lodge, which he’d acquired with a peppercorn lease in 2003.
Trump has repeatedly distanced himself from Epstein, calling him a “creep” and insisting that he’d kicked the convicted sex offender out of his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida.
