Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo reignited NBA trade rumors with a recent comment about Miami.

During an appearance on the debut episode of Goran Dragic’s new podcast, Antetokounmpo told the former Heat guard that he thinks Miami is a “beautiful city.”

This comment came after he expressed his desire to play for a winning NBA franchise.

“You know how I am. We are loyal. We are loyal people. When people believe in us, and people help us and make us stand on our feet, it’s very hard for you to turn your back,” Antetokounmpo said. “But at the same time, you’re competitive. You want to win. Everybody wants to win. So you’ve got to make the best decision for yourself. That’s pretty much it.”

“Can I say something? You’re 31 years old, so you need to think about your knees,” Dragic said. “You know, to be loose. So you need warm climate, man.”

“Miami’s not a bad place, man. Beautiful, beautiful city, beautiful city. Beautiful city, believe it or not, believe it or not,” Antetokounmpo replied.

The Heat were reportedly one of the teams pursuing Antetokounmpo before this past season’s NBA trade deadline. Both the Bucks and the Heat missed the postseason this year, and are likely open to some big changes.
