Blake Shelton is not shy about showering his lady, Gwen Stefani, with love.
The 48-year-old country singer took to Instagram to celebrate his wife’s 55th birthday on Thursday, October 3. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my favorite girl.. my pretty girl @gwenstefani!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!” Shelton gushed alongside a series of photos of the couple.
The pair are all smiles in the first image, a selfie showing off the No Doubt singer’s sleek blonde hair, striking cat eyeliner, and signature red lip. The second image shows the former The Voice coaches in their element, performing together on Shelton’s Back to the Honky Tonk Tour.
In a third image, the duo look loved up and cozy as Stefani sports a red and gray baseball tee, tiny denim shorts, and black fishnet stockings while sitting in Shelton’s lap. He looks casual yet put together in a black button-down with rolled up sleeves and blue jeans.
The last image is a blurry capture of Shelton and the “Just a Girl” singer riding in the car together. The image is the couple’s reflection in a truck’s side mirror, but while the photo is blurry, it is clear how happy Stefani is, as she shows off a wide grin.
Fans jumped into the comments to share their love for Stefani as well as she and Shelton as a couple. “The sweetest couple EVER!!! Love you both 🫶🏻💕💐,” one fan posted. Another commented, “Happy Happy Birthday Favs!! 😍😍.”
Stefani — who was previously married to rocker Gavin Rossdale from 2002 to 2016, with whom she shares sons Kingston, 18, Zuma Nesta, 16, and Apollo, 10 — first met Shelton in April 2014 while filming The Voice.
At the time, Stefani was still married to Rossdale, and Shelton was still married to fellow country singer Miranda Lambert — to whom he was wed from 2011 to 2015.
The singers turned to each other as they each went through divorces in summer 2015. By November of that year, Shelton and Stefani were dating, and they announced their engagement in October 2020. They went on to tie the knot on Shelton’s ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Fourth of July weekend in 2021.
The sweet tribute comes as Stefani prepares to release her fifth solo album, Bouquet. It will arrive at stores and music platforms on Friday, November 15.
