Karrion Kross has set the wrestling world abuzz, posting an intriguing video to social media on Tuesday afternoon that strongly hints at the formation of a new faction in WWE, potentially involving recently departed AEW stars Vincent and Dutch, known collectively as The Righteous.

This tease comes as Kross, alongside Scarlett, has been navigating WWE as a duo since his Final Testament stable dissolved earlier this year.

The cryptic social media post featured the distinct opening notes of The Righteous’s entrance music. On screen, Kross was then seen emulating Vincent’s characteristic finger-snapping gesture before uttering his own familiar catchphrase, “Tick tock,” and walking away. This has led to widespread speculation about a dark alliance, especially given the timing.

This social media activity from Kross occurred almost immediately after it was confirmed that Vincent and Dutch were granted their release from All Elite Wrestling the previous week, making them free agents.

The Righteous originally made their mark in Ring of Honor (ROH), where the faction, initially led by Vincent and including members like Bateman and Vita VonStarr, established a dark, cult-like persona. Dutch later joined, and the trio (Vincent, Bateman, and Dutch) captured the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.

Before ROH’s acquisition by Tony Khan, Vincent also had a stint in Impact Wrestling with the “Honor No More” stable. Vincent and Dutch returned to the revamped ROH under the AEW umbrella in March 2023 and were signed to AEW contracts, leading to a prominent AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view match against MJF.

Their departure from AEW adds them to a list of notable talent exits from that promotion in 2025, including Ricky Starks (now in WWE NXT as Ricky Saints), Malakai Black, and Miro.

Kross himself has had an eventful 2025. The Final Testament, which featured Kross, Scarlett, The Authors of Pain, and Paul Ellering, disbanded in February after Akam, Rezar, and Ellering were released from WWE. Kross then engaged in a program with AJ Styles leading into WrestleMania 41, during which he revealed he wrestled through a ruptured eardrum.

While not competing in a match at WrestleMania, Kross made an appearance and later delivered a notable, unscripted promo on a post-show expressing frustration with his WWE utilization.

More recently, Kross competed against Dragon Lee on WWE Main Event and confronted Sami Zayn on the May 5th episode of Raw. His latest tease suggests a significant new chapter may be unfolding with the potential addition of The Righteous to his dark crusade in WWE.
