In a corresponding move, the Pacers have signed veteran guard Cam Payne.

Wright suffered the injury in the team’s Tuesday preseason match against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He took a hard shot to the head in the second quarter.

Wright was dribbling near halfcourt when Timberwolves forward Jaylen Clark sprinted to try to steal the ball from the back side. Wright turned as Clark was making his move, and the former Pacers guard got the worst of it.
