A paraprofessional at a special education school in Arizona has been arrested after video circulated showing her allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old student, according to police.
Charlotte Huesby, a 24-year-old therapeutic support staff member at Austin Centers for Exceptional Students in Peoria, was charged with having sex with a minor last week after other students came forward about the relationship, according to court documents obtained by Fox10 Phoenix.
The accuser told police he had been regularly having sex with Huesby, starting within weeks of them first meeting at the school last year.
Huesby even got them a hotel room where she filmed them having sex — and told him she wanted him to get her pregnant, according to police.
The school’s superintendent became aware of “inappropriate text messages” Huesby exchanged with the student on Aug. 28 after another student told her guidance counselor that the teen talked about their sex sessions, according to police.
Another student later told their counselor that a video was shared in a social media group chat that allegedly showed the teen having sex with the staffer, according to authorities.
The accuser also had videos of them having sex, according to police.
Huesby, who worked at the school for six years, was immediately put on leave and interviewed by police. She confessed to having sex with the boy between 10 and 15 times, the court documents said, leading to her being charged with two counts of having sex with a minor.
The accuser’s father told investigators that his son had claimed to be in a relationship with an 18-year-old high school senior named “Angie,” and only later revealed it was Huesby.
The boy spent “nearly every weekend with Charlotte” beginning in 2024, and spent most of his 2025 summer break living with her, the dad told police, according to the documents.
He “never knew Charlotte was 24 and worked at [his son’s] school,” police wrote in their report.
Huesby is expected to appear in Maricopa County Superior Court on Sept. 11.
