President Donald Trump was paid a visit outside of the Oval Office by a DoorDash worker on Monday in an effort to hype his administration’s “no tax on tips” initiative.
The worker, identified by DoorDash as Sharon Simmons of Arkansas, stood by the president as took questions from White House reporters on issues ranging from the Iran War to his critiques of Pope Leo XIV.
While blasting the Democratic Party, Trump said, “they want to have men playing women’s sports.”
The president then quickly turned to Simmons, who was wearing a “Doordash Grandma” shirt, and asked, “Do you think that men should play in women’s sports?” She replied, “I really don’t have an opinion on that.”
Trump interrupted, “You do!” Then Simmons said, “No, I’m here about no tax on tips.”
